NTD LABNET is a network of labs that are involved in molecular diagnosis of BU and other skin NTDs in 13 West African countries. Hope Rises supports the coordination of the network through CPC Cameroon.
This multi country exchange project contributes in capacity building of TLMN staff by providing capacity building exchange opportunities to improve accessible, quality leprosy services,increase dignity and empowerment as well as socialintegration of people marginalized by leprosy, disability and other causes and also provide an opportunity for comparative research and a platform for sharing evidence based practices.

Naini hospital is a renowned leprosy hospital providing quality tertiary care for patients with leprosy, as well as other diseases including skin diseases, diabetes, and cardiac diseases. Naini hospital also provides a wide range of outreach services providing medical care to hard-to-reach areas and raising awareness of leprosy.

To mitigate the stigma of Hansen’s disease and promote the social inclusion of persons affected by leprosy and their families in Colombia by strengthening organizational leadership, implementing community actions to reduce discrimination, and enhancing Felehansen’s sustainability.
The aim is to assess adherence levels (quantiative), and contributory factors (qualiative), to MDT adherence among 160-200 patients currently on MDT treatment in three Referral Centres, and make recommendations on how to appropriately improve MDT adherence .
Mental Wellebing project that provides community counselling through trained volunteers, professional structured counselling and referrals to govermental mental health services in Bogura. Additional activities include ulcer care, training, capacity building of federations and advocay with local authorities.
To enhance the holistic well-being (physical, mental, and socio-economic) of persons affected by leprosy by improving self-support members’ knowledge and skills in self-care and disability prevention, strengthening mental motivators’ capacity for effective counseling and community support, and advocating for their needs while enhancing support for government benefit applications.
Assessment of mental health of leproy affected communities
The program has objective, to empower young people with disability to actively engage in decision-making processes, ensuring their voices are heard and incorporated into policies that affect their futures. The program will be implemented through 2 strategies: 1. EMPOWERMENT OF YOUTH TO LEAD INITIATIVES | New skills and knowledge are utilized by Young People with Disabilities and Youth Affected by Leprosy to combat stigma and contribute to the creation of enabling spaces; 2. ENABLING ENVIRONMENT | Stigma towards Young People with Disabilities and People Affected by Leprosy is reduced, and enabling environment is fostered to promote social inclusion and support their meaningful participation in all aspects of society.
