EPAL (Empowered People Affected by Leprosy) Project (February 2023 – July 2023)

This project aims to empower people affected by leprosy in the Dili municipality, through the municipality’s leprosy program. The Project conducts advocacy activities, Leprosy screening and provision of food supplements to vulnerable people affected by leprosy and, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, carry out mass screening to the area that registered high case of Leprosy. This project is being implemented in 8 villages in the Dili Municipality. The project started in 1 of February 2023 and will be last for 6 months
