Leprosy local control strategies

Location(s): Departments of Norte de Santander, Cesar, Valle and Huila
Leprosy control by developing specific actions with different social actors, aimed at improving the capacity in diagnosis by health workers, early detection by some social actors of the municipalities such as cohabitants or relatives, groups of young adolescents and mainly a group of the patients themselves who will be trained by DAHW, in addition to training actions for relatives and affected people, to improve knowledge in relation to basic care to prevent the appearance or advance of disabilities.
