Nationwide Leprosy Control Program with 9 establishments for disease consultations. Active and Passive case detection by technical field staff. Training of medical and nursing student about leprosy and discrimination. Promotion and inclusion of leprosy-affected individuals in social assistance programs. The entire month of September is “Leprosy Month” to raise awareness and to explain there is no place for discrimination.
