In the project, supported by Fontilles, people affected by leprosy with disabilities are treated through reconstructive surgery; Orthopedic footwear is provided to those who need it and workshops and self-help groups are set up to facilitate physical and socioeconomic rehabilitation, as well as community reintegration of people at risk of social exclusion.
