Proyash – Accelerating Leprosy Services

Location(s): Dinajpur, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Bogura, Sirajganj, Natore, Pabna, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Sunamganj and Sylhet. (11 districts and 101 sub-districts)

Health systems strengthening project focused on establishing an active partnership with the National Leprosy Program (NLP) that transfers ownership and responsive health care for leprosy control to the decentralized governmental health system. Activities include capacity building of health care staff and volunteers, and formation of self-support groups (SSG).
