Reconstruction and equipping of the Chilakalapalli Hospital to strengthen the program to combat leprosy and other diseases related to poverty in four districts of India

The objective of the project is (i) to rebuild and equip the hospital; (ii) train local health personnel for early diagnosis; (iii) reaching remote tribal populations hitherto without health services through the Fontilles and GMLF mobile clinics, and (iv) expanding treatment to other pathologies prevalent in the area and linked to poverty, mainly filariasis, malaria and HIV AIDS.
